Welcome to the fifth GSi e-Zine

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Senior Customer Services Manager for the Networks Team of which GSi is a part. My name will be familiar to many of you as I worked on the GSi team for a number of years before moving across to the Mts team in 2006.

Part of my new role will be to look at customer satisfaction and I will be working closely with Cable&Wireless, who will be contacting you in due course to ask you to complete a short survey. We would be grateful for your co-operation as we will use the results to improve the service we provide.

In this edition we:

  • Summarise the benefits of the GSi contract extension including the free upgrade offer
  • Outline the improvements made to the GSi team structure within Buying Solutions
  • Give an update on English and Welsh local authority connections to the GSi through the Government Connect programme, and how the GSi can be used to communicate with them
  • Explain who else you can communicate securely with through the GSi, and at what impact level
  • Provide information on how the BlackBerry® can be used to access your GSi email account.
