Gas Metering Installation Upgrade
A programme of gas meter exchanges will be taking place over the coming months.
As part of Corona Energy's ongoing commitment to customer service they are upgrading gas meter installations to ensure that they meet current engineering standards as well as enabling the provision of a pulse output from the exchanged meter.
This work will be undertaken at no cost to the customer.
You will receive advance notification, by letter, of the planned works. You will then be contacted by Corona's Metering Services Partner, Energy Assets Ltd, to arrange a date to carry out upgrade works to your gas meter installation. This work will be undertaken by qualified personnel with as little disruption as possible to your gas supply.
They will be installing latest technology meters, which will generate the pulses required for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) units to work, thereby ensuring the government's requirements for the introduction of advanced metering can be met.
If you would like additional information regarding AMR please email energy@ogcbs.gov.uk.
